Lloyd Helicopters and its forerunners have been in the industry since the late 1960s. Patrick Lloyd established the first helicopter operation in Singapore in 1970 to service oil tankers transiting the Malacca Straits and during the 1970s and 1980s, operated a fleet of 25 helicopters throughout Asia. In 1986, the focus of the company shifted from purely operating to a combination of operating, trading, broking and consultancy. By 1995, the company was concentrating purely on sales and broking, with sales offices established in the USA and Europe. Today, Lloyd Helicopters is a market leader in the global helicopter industry. The group has a team of highly experienced individuals with expertise in all areas of the industry.
